Lyric analysis
Chloe and I decided to sit down and analyse the lyrics to the song 'Paris' by The 1975 so we could ensure our narrative will be relevant to the lyrical content as our target audience enjoy a music video which correspond with lyrical content. We listened to the song and then printed a lyric copy to analyse, we decided to analyse the lyrics with our own understanding and then decided to look into interviews with the musician and lyricist Matty Healy to consolidate the meaning he wished to convey in his lyrics. Below is the analysis we completed
